Energy Star Certification - Development and submission
of Energy Star documentation throughout the project provides
third-party energy efficiency analysis of the design.
In-house
Sustainable Design Seminars - We provide sustainable
design training in a convenient, economical way to
you and your staff. Seminars vary from basic overviews
to
in-depth design ideas, with their cost and benefit
implications.
Green Rating System Education - This
four-hour seminar will highlight the current version
of the U.S.
Green
Building Council's LEED NC, EB or CI rating systems.
Presentation
will include a discussion of the exam and hints to
help
participants prepare for their own certification.
Green
Building Product Consulting - As a team member
or outside resource,
we can provide up-to-date information, research
and analysis of the products and systems you are
considering.
We can
also make recommendations of products to consider
for a specific application.
Green Building Tours - Tours of “green” and
LEED-certified buildings are organized to introduce
and educate your client, the building users and
your consultants
to green technologies and building materials.
Life
Cycle Cost Analysis (LCA) Plus - Analysis
and comparison of alternative construction and
finish
products for
short-term, long-term and environmental benefit.
Greening
Your Office - We will assess your company or corporate
practices, including energy and
water use,
purchasing,
cleaning, transportation and travel policies.
Once complete, we will develop a recommended “Greening
Office Program” specific
to your organization and its facilities. To
support your transition, we can provide educational
seminars
and electronic
educational memos for you to communicate with
your company about what is happening and why.
Green
Tenant Guideline Development - We can help
you develop green standards for tenant
build-outs
and include
green
practice requirements in future leases.
Rebate
Program Coordination - We will assess your facilities
and develop an “Energy Savings/ Rebate Projects” list.
As part of this assessment, we will write the
specifications, bid the job, manage the construction
and acquire rebates
for your energy efficiency modifications or
renewable energy installations.
